This remarkable lake has been set in the Champagne region of France for over 400 years, in quaint woodland of the town of St. Dizier, just 20 minutes from Vitry Le Francois. This is approximately 3.5 hours from Calais. There is a steep driveway off the road leading to sliding gates at the entrance to the lake. The house is situated approximately 20 feet from the lake. Local amenities are within a 15 minute drive and include supermarkets and both dine-in and takeaway restaurants.

Rules
Anglers will be allowed on the lake from 2pm on the day of arrival.
Anglers must be off the lake by 10am on the day of departure.
Vehicles can be parked outside the main lake house. – Micro
barbed hooks only
Unhooking mats, weigh slings and landing nets are provided
(small deposit needed)
No fish sacking or retaining
There are bait bans; No nuts, particles can only be ordered
ahead of your arrival and will be delivered to the lake house on
arrival by the on-site bailiff
Bait Boats are welcome
Maximum of 3 rods per angler, which must not be left
unattended
Minimum 15 lbs breaking strain mainline
Safe rigs only
No plastic fake corn
– No braided mainline, no braided leaders or lead core and no
leaders of any type.
Tubing only – minimum of 600ml
Fishing is permitted from marked swims only, bivvies must be
erected on the gravel areas
No bivvies between swims are allowed
Weekly maintenance of grass, trees and swims will be carried
out to ensure good upkeep of the lake
No fires around the lake
No swimming
You are responsible for your own safety around the lake and on
the complex
Rubbish – All your rubbish must be taken to the recycle areas
which will be by the main lake house. To ensure this happens
we will take a 20 euro deposit which will be returned to you
when you leave, assuming there is no rubbish or human waste
left in or around your swim
Drunkenness, anti-social, threatening behaviour etc. will not be
tolerated. Offenders will be asked to cease fishing and leave the
lake.
